How it Works

GOLFHER Foundation

The GOLFHER Foundation is our way of giving back to the community. We set aside funds from events and sales to donate to our local charities. Our goal is to support both boys and girls through our community networks. We trust our networks to connect us to families with financial challenges relating to recreational expenses for their children. We want to ensure a financial barrier doesn't prevent us from finding the next Brooke Henderson! Each year we will host an annual Kids and Club event to introduce golf to kids in our community.

We sponsor and support junior athletes by connecting with community networks such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada. We sponsor junior athletes to cover registration fees and equipment to ensure kids can play sports without financial barriers.

Volunteering as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters

2021 Marks 100 years of mentoring services provided in Hamilton. Today, more than 2,000 young people are served through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton and Hamilton each year.
